A big thank you to Surbiton and the team for hosting a fabulous meeting on Wednesday. We were made very welcome and can visualise synergy with a number of Surbiton's and Sutton's members. John has very much been the driving force behind this initiative. It is a win win all round for all our neighbouring chapters. We may be different groups but we all want the same thing,to share ideas, sub for each other and ultimately build our business. We look forward to a bright and mutually profitable future.

James

Apologies for the delay in response... I am the administrator of the BNI Sutton site, and also one of the members who visited the site, so I will answer your questions according to my experience. It is worth noting that your mileage may vary.

I have met Andrew Segal, from Martin & Clewes on a couple of occasions in the UK, and heard him detail the investment opportunity. This in itself was enough to raise my interest in the opportunity, but as many people, I was still cautious and a little cynical that this was on the level.

When the opportunity to visit the site was put forward, I thought it would be a good idea, to allow me to view the site, check that it was 'real', and as you put it, check that it was being run well as a business. We visited in November, as detailed in the post above.

We did pay for the flights, but we will be re-imbursed when our investment funds are transferred. We were put up in a very pleasant hotel for the time we spent there and also picked up and taken back to the airport. In fact, we were VERY well looked after during our time there, including a very pleasant meal in a local restaurant, near to the site.

As stated in the article, there is very little in place at the moment, except for the high speed rail link, which is supposed to be running its first customers in the next month or so. The old farmhouse is used as a visitor centre with photos and illustrations of the planned developments.

All in all, the people (3) on our trip did feel that it may be worth investing in and are investigating the next steps.

I would highly recommend going on the trip, if nothing else. I have not experienced any form of hard sell or avoidance of any questions asked of Andrew or Martin & Clewes. It pretty much was of the form: This is the site, this is the deal, are you interested? Your call.

Hope the above helps. If you have any further questions, please get back in contact!

Regards
Keiran

I am thinking of becoming a small investor in Los Pandos and so am interested in how and why you visited the site.
Did you visit it just to be sure that the site is actually there and being run well as a business? And did you come to a conclusion was that it may be worth investing in?
How and for how long did you visit the site and area. I've been told that I could pay a visit: I'd pay for the flights to/from Alicante, and they would pick me up and put me in an hotel (don't know for how long) - was this arrangement your experience?
