The highlight of this week was the lengths that some people went to to write an interesting 60 seconds, that also included the word ‘antithesis’ for their assigned chapter memberNotable mentions must go to:
- Pat Wakefield of Promising Winners for her poem ‘Antithesis’ dedicated to Alan Gristwood of AG Services Ltd, which was finally voted the winner by popular consensus.
- Mark Thaw of Thaw Out Plumbing and Heating for his ‘split personality’ presentation for Jonathan Barnett of All Mortgage Matters
- John Sell of JDS Electical Ltd skill to ‘wing it’ on the morning, for Vanita Patel of Advance Promotions
Pat invited Paul and Tony from Surrey Hills Garden Management (ring Tony on 07775 736017 if you need their services) as her visitor this week. Thank you to the both of you, and look forward to seeing you again next week. This has pushed her personal score to 71 and her currently winning team score to 139.
A call went out for ideas for bonus rounds. Send them to Keiran by Wednesday evening, next week for them to be considered for a 5pt bonus score.

Hello Keiran
A great meeting and I really loved the playing around with the word antithesis – such a clever idea. What made it funny was that some people had never heard of it and others could not say it! This idea will take some beating! We can’t afford to be complacent with regard to the score and the threat of team 1, so I will be trying for more visitors. Have a good weekend.
With kindest regards
Pat
