David Goymour explained that his work as a journalist can involve researching and writing articles for business magazines (mainly but not exclusively connected with the hospitality industry); and he offers his skills as a writer to small businesses.
He talked about two examples: an article for the Food and Service Management Survey 2010, published by the British Hospitality Association, which explored how contract caterers are promoting healthy eating in the workplace and in education; and a company profile commissioned by William Wu, managing director of the Universal Chinese Laundry, which was required to support a tender for Ministry of Defence laundry contracts.
